Here are some recent examples of my digital paintings. I work both traditionally and digitally. These were made in procreate and photoshop.
Digital Painting
This painting of an arctic scene demonstrates the rendering of many different textures. It took me roughly 25 hours from start to finish.
This illustration is a mash-up of the Robinhood story and the fairytale of the Golden Bird. I worked on this over the course of 2 weeks and it is based on the fairytale of the golden bird. I will be revisiting this soon to finalize the heroine and the bird’s feathers to bring this to a completion. Stay tuned.
This painting shows an evening scene where an escape from the zoo is in progress. For this image I researched turn of the century zoos.
This is a concept painting for a scene set in a large room in at the turn of the 20th century. Robinhood discovers the hiding spot for the mystical golden bird. An evil zookeeper looks on.
This illustration is also set in the early 20th century and portrays the moment this Bear’s adventure turns dangerous.
